Helen MargaretMASONDied peacefully on 4th November 2022 in hospital with family at her side, Helen aged 78 years of Clitheroe and formerly of Lytham St. Annes and Skipton. Helen was the dearly loved wife of the late Reverend David Mason, also a much-loved mother of Peter, Rod and Guy and a grandmother to seven. She was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs James Reside of Edgerton, Huddersfield. She was a pupil of Penrhos College in North Wales and then trained as a teacher at Westhill Training College in Birmingham before going on to teach primary aged children. She left teaching to support her husband in his life as a minister of the United Reformed Church which took them from Skipton to across the Pennines in Lytham, and then finally on to Clitheroe also in Lancashire. Reposing in ‘Peacehaven’ Chapel of Rest. A service will be held at The White Church, Fairhaven, Lytham St. Annes on 21st November at 2pm. This will be followed by a cremation at Lytham Crematorium, and afterwards at the Clifton Arms Hotel.
