JohnMASONa Proud Coventry Kid. Poet, Police Superintendent, City Councillor, tireless worker for the interests of the heath of Coventry citizens and the Alzheimer's Society, died peacefully in his sleep in Woodbridge Suffolk of lung cancer with Ros and his family around him. He will be buried in a Suffolk Woodland on Wednesday 16th August at 3pm. Family flowers only. Any donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society from which he suffered for 6 years by visiting john-mason-1940-2023.muchloved.com

Very sad news. I always loved coming to stay with you when I was a child and John always made my stays fun and interesting. Looking forward to seeing you at the funeral

Sad to see this.John was a man of intelligence and integrity and volunteered tirelessly in Coventry. I met him when he was supporting Carers on Healthy Walks. Condolences to the family.
