Mark JohnMASONMark Mason passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, October 8, aged 59 years.
He was born and raised in Accrington and attended St Anne’s RC Primary School and Holy Family RC Secondary School. He enjoyed watching sport especially football, in particular he followed Burnley and Accrington Stanley FC. He loved to travel and in his younger days he travelled and worked in Israel, hitch-hiked to Spain and worked on a vineyard in France. He enjoyed holidays to Thailand and most recently Malta.
He was the proud father of Marcus and his partner Laura, much loved brother of Jacqueline and Gillian and the beloved son of the late Jack and Lily Mason. A dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and a great friend. Mark will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many good friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at
3pm on Friday, October 20 at Accrington Crematorium. Everyone is welcome. Casual dress.
The Service will be live streamed for anyone who is unable to attend and online for 28 days.
