John MarcusMATKINSadly passed away at the Royal Derby Hospital, following a short illness on Monday 13th July 2026, aged 84 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Sylvia, cherished partner of June for the past 20 years. Dad to Kevin, Gary and Steven, father-in-law to; Carole, Linda and the late Jane. Proudly known as "Gom" to his six grandchildren.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Wednesday 26th August 2026 at 11.30am.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Macmillan Cancer Support. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.
