Special thanks to W. Cravens and the Reverend Nathan Thorpe and Natalie of St Giles, Aintree for conducting the service. Thanks also to Cunningham's florist for the beautiful flowers, Scrummies Catering, Solomon printers and the Oldy club. Sincere thanks to all those who donated in Steve's memory to Aftermath, the charity who supported the family.

I first met Steve when Sylvia came to work at the post office. Such a lovely man with a lovely family. He popped in regularly to put his lottery on. A real gent.
