The obituary notice of Holly MAUGHAN

I taught Holly for A level French in 2012-2013. She was a really hard worker and even though she found French at this level a challenge , Holly pushed herself and pulled up 2 grades in the final exam.
Holly was a real asset to our class of 9. Such a sweet, polite girl with a gift for getting along with others. We shared a birthday and I followed her career on FB because she left her mark. As a teacher, I only had special pupils as FB friends!
I can’t imagine the loss felt by Holly’s family but I attended her funeral yesterday with Phillip Pearson, another ex- student from Holly’s class and it was lovely to see how many people loved her. Holly was indeed a beautiful person inside and out…that’s how she should be remembered.
