Margaret ValerieMAXWELLof Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall, passed away on Saturday, December 5, aged 82. She had worked as a bank clerk during her career. Her hobbies included a keen interest in ancestry and genealogy, and she loved travelling and her cats. She was a member of the Barclays Pensioner Club and did voluntary driving for Lancashire County Council. She leaves her nephew Sean, great-nephew Josh, cousin Anne and Godson Alistair Shottin. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, with a service at Hamers Funeral Home, James Street, followed by burial at Haslingden Cemetery.
