RoyMAYERAt rest on Friday, 8th February 2019 at the RSUH whilst in the loving care of Ward 80, Roy, aged 87 years of Bentilee. Loving husband of the late Jean, special father of the late Alan, loving grandad of Rose, Desmond and Ashliegh, great-grandad of Isabella and Flynn, dear brother of Pauline and brother-in-law of John, cousin of Jeff and Margaret, special friend of John and Amanda. Roy will be sadly missed by his many friends. Funeral Service and Cremation at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 22nd February at 10.30am. Flowers, or if preferred, donations for Dementia UK. Sad news that Roy has died. For many years he was the Manager of the Staffordshire under 15 cricket teams. Roy was a very respected former player, coach, Umpire and Officer in the Local cricket leagues. His work helped with the development of many young players including those who went on to play county and test cricket.
