IonaMAYNARDIona of South Knighton, Leicester sadly passed away on 28th December 2022, aged 87yrs. A woman so strong, full of courage and devotion was sadly taken away from us unexpectedly. Iona leaves behind sons and daughters, Junia, Wilfred, Janet, Pamella and Kenneth alongside grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Our mother Iona, our best friend to all who knew her, she is and will be sadly missed. Iona's funeral service will take place at The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalen, Knighton on Thursday 9th February 2023 at 1pm, followed by her burial in Saffron Hill Cemetery, Stonesby Avenue, Leicester at 2pm. Flowers welcome or donations in her memory to the British Red Cross.
