WilliamMCAULEY14.09.2020 Suddenly and unexpectedly we have had our light and warmth taken from us. He was our rock, foundation and the heart and soul of our happiness. Treasured husband, father and grandfather, we are all lost without him. Billy, 5th DAN Aikido instructor of Asoryu Aikido, was avidly continuing in his master's way of Aikido which has now suffered an irreparable loss. Devoted toward helping others, he has worked for many years to assist the vulnerable and homeless. Billy was determined to give back to the world as much as he could and his efforts live on in the hearts and lives of many. He will be with us always.

Billy...it's probably 30 years now since we last met and yet I still think about you and the time we had together teaching Aikido in Hereford and Leominster during the 1990's. Happy times...

I worked with Billy in the mid-1990s at Berlitz Translation Services in Tokyo Japan. Though I haven’t been in contact with him for many years after he left Japan, I’m sadden to learn of his passing. I’d like to extend my belated condolences to his family and friends.
