Raymond and Gillian McBride would like to say a special thank you to family members, friends and neighbours who sent flowers, cards and messages of condolence following Helen's passing.
Thank you to the Reverend Sally Gorton and the Reverend David Cook for officiating at the Crematorium and for providing spiritual comfort.
A big thank you goes to the Co-operative Funeral Care Services for their support.
Thanks also to the Vale of Leven Bowling Club and to William Gallacher of Wizgonies in Balloch for the hall and catering at such short notice.
Helen wanted to end her days in her own home and many community services were needed to make that possible. These included staff at Inchcruin Medical Practice, District Nurses, Marchbanks Chemist, Renton, West Dunbartonshire Home Care Services, Community Alarm Service, The Older Adults Team at the Joint Hospital, Dumbarton, Respiratory Nurses and Benview Centre for personal care.
Special thanks go to the paramedics who attended Helen when she required hospital care on 10th December and to the staff in the Medical Assessment Unit and Ward 3 of the Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria.
