Ged has left us all with a load of memories, mostly good.
I'll just say this, Ged was my mate.
Hope you're at peace.

It’s fair to say my brother Ged was unique. He was full of fun, madness, humour and excessiveness…often at the same time!

And whilst the last quarter of his life was blighted by the effects of his excessiveness, it’s the previous three quarters I will remember: The bright, hard working, hugely talented, artistic, creative, good humoured, generous, supportive, crazy, warm, engaging and Celtic-mad brother, loving husband and devoted father.

And as the sadly all too familiar empty feeling sweeps over us all again, I will cherish the memories I have of Ged, and how he lives on in his sons and grandsons and I take comfort in thinking thats he’s upstairs now, with my Mum and Dad, John and Stevie having a party and looking forward to welcoming his wee brother again when it’s my time. RIP Ged xx
