NancyMCCARDLE(née Parker) Passed away peacefully on 6 April, aged 81, after a short illness. Beloved partner of Don, dear Mum of Roger, Lorna and Duncan, and proud Nan of Lewis, Morgan and Mitchell. Funeral to take place at 11.15 on Tuesday 3 May at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Peasedown St John. Family flowers only. Donations (if desired) to Father Leonard who is a missionary in Rwanda - care of G Mannings Funeral Directors, 106 North Road, Combe Down, Bath, BA2 5DJ.

I am so sorry to hear Nancy has passed away. I went to Bath in 1997 and stayed for 8 weeks at her house while I studied English at the International House.

Nancy and her husband were special people in my life. They treated me as part of their family and we had long conversations during and after dinner. And she was the best cook!

I will never forget her. I was searching for her name on Google to check if I could find her contact info to say hi and unfortunately discovered she is not among us anymore. But she will always be in my heart.

My condolences to the family.
