Margaret ShirleyMCCARTHYIt is with great sadness that the family of Margaret McCarthy announce her death. Margaret of Higher Blackley passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, fortified by the rites of the Holy Mother Church on Saturday 10th June 2023 aged 84 Years. Margaret was a much loved wife of the late Daniel. A beloved Mother to Carmel and Angela. A cherished Grandmother to Joseph, Maureen, Gabrielle, Jacob and Margaret. A loving sister to Barbara and a caring Aunty and Mother-in-Law. Margaret was loved by all who had the joy and privilege to have met her. On Wednesday 28th June Margaret will be received into St Mary's R.C Church, Clive Road, Failsworth for Evening Reception at 7.00pm. Followed by Requiem Mass On Thursday 29th June at 11.15am followed by interment at St Joseph Cemetery, Moston Lane. All are welcome to join in the celebration of Margaret's life. Flowers welcome and also donations to Dr Kershaw's Hospice at home.
