JoyceMCCARTNEY(Stakeford) Peacefully on 9th December 2022 aged 100 years. Joyce (nee Ridley), beloved Wife of the late Charlie & Bill, much loved Mother of the late David, dearly loved Grandma of Richard & Mark. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Cowpen Crematorium Blyth on Friday 6th January at 11.30am. Flowers may be sent or donations in lieu if desired to The Salvation Army. A donation box will be available at the crematorium. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at the Commissioner's Quay Blyth. Enquiries to A. J. Gascoigne & Son. Tel. 01670 818351.

Mark and Richard - I'm sorry for grandma passing away. She was an inspiration and everyone would be happy to be so healthy and live up to 100. More vegetable soup! I am treasuring all the memories from her tasty Christmas cake to her trademark birthday cards. I hope you drink some sherry in her memory - it's what grandma would have wanted... Love from Rosa xxx
