RaymondMCCERERY(Chester Road) Passed away suddenly but peacefully with his caring family by his side on April 6th aged 79 years, Ray. Much loved husband of Pat. Loved and adored dad of Paul and John. Cherished grandad of Becky and Amy. Special father-in-law of Joanne and Julie. Also a dear friend of many. Family and friends please meet for service at Sunderland Crematorium on Tuesday April 19th at 3.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Seaman's Mission, South Shields. So sad to read this Ray was always good to me when I was down working out of the Shields Union Office. He will be sadly missed my thought are with his family R.I.P. Ray

Sad to hear of the passing of Ray, worked closely with Ray while he was Branch Secretary of the North East Shipping branch of the RMT.
Lovely man who lived for his family and whom fought for the rights of all brothers and sisters of the union he represented.
Thoughts go to Pat and the family 🙏
