BernieMCCONNON(North Shields) Peacefully after a short illness on the 31st January 2021, aged 65 years. Beloved husband of Morag, dearly loved dad to Jo and Jason, father-in-law of Chris, adored grandad of Corey and Esme, also a much loved brother to Dom, Franky, and John. A private funeral will be held in keeping with covid 19 restrictions. Service will take place at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 18th February at 2.15pm. My memories of Bernie are always his love of music, his love and protection of Morag and family and one of the biggest leg pullers I know.

Gone but definitely not forgotten. Known Bernie since 1960 and one of the gentlest, genuine people I have ever met. Deepest sympathy with all the family.
