Rest in peace Bernie.

You were one in a million, a giant amongst men and a pillar of our extended family. Whether it was introducing me to a seemingly forever growing list of new members of the family or telling me one of your jokes, cackling half way through making me laugh before you had even got to the punchline, you lit up every room you were in and drew people to you.

You’ll be missed.

What a turn out for you today Uncle Bern! Nothing more than you deserve for all the love you poured into our family. You replanted Nanna Nelli’s money plant and shared it amoung us for us all to nurture, love and help grow. Just like you did with our family always making sure we knew who our second cousins twice removed are and sending random pictures. Cutting a piece of my hair to put in with Nan and my mum going mad at you! Making disgusting concoctions with the kids in the kitchen and eating it just to make them laugh! You will be missed! Love you Uncle Bern big squeeze and lots of licks Rachel, Lucas, Molly and Everleigh xxxx
