Grandad coal was his very own comedian “have you fell over in them jeans” and also loved to tell stories about his past “oh Whitchurch had the best lady and her daughter there who made the best apple pies” he always loved his sweet treats but was never reluctant to share his Murray mints, he told many great stories it would be a shame to miss out on them because they always came with a day out we had many great sleep overs before you passed “that’s plates cold “ when eating a sandwich or when you driven are dog elli crazy hiding her toys behind your back you are going to be missed like crazy, i love you lots x ❤️

I had 26 years of calling you Grandad Coal and every second of them years I will treasure and make sure your enternal flame is kept alight. I’m so grateful of the Christmas’ and Easter’s we got to spend together and all the times inbetween from you picking me up from school to minding our Isabella while I sorted your meds/lunches out. I’m so grateful I got to bless you with a great great grandaughter and I’ll make sure she never forgets her great great grandad and all the memories you blessed her with in 9 little months. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you untill we meet again. We love you x
