We had a wonderful mother,
One who never really grew old,
Sadie's smile was made of sunshine,
And her heart was solid gold,
Her eyes sparkled like emeralds,
And in her cheeks fair roses you see,
Her laughter filled the room,
We had a wonderful mother,
And that's the way it will always be,
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part,
God has you now in His keepsake,
But we have you dear mother all in our hearts.
Also remembering our dear Jim,
Sadie's late husband,
Also our dad, grandad and great grandad,
Our dearly beloved brother, Joseph (Joe).
