I have only just heard of Marks passing. Mark was my manager quite some time ago and I must say he was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He would have done anything for anyone and was not just a manager but a friend in some very hard times, I will never forget that. I’m gutted to hear this news and only wish I’d known earlier so I could have paid my respects at his funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time xx

Thank you...... Thank you just doesn't seem enough, but I sincerely mean it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to every single person who came to say goodbye yesterday and to celebrate Mark's life. He was one lucky guy to have known you all. There were even those who travelled from Scotland, Nottingham and London. And to those of you who couldn't make it, I know he was in your thoughts. You all have your own special memories of Mark and share a bond with him that I hope you can take comfort from and treasure for the rest of your lives.
Also a massive thanks to everyone who donated, we raised £915 at his funeral which is just phenomenal, there has also been £360 donated from his tribute page and Facebook fundraiser. I'm going to give the majority of it to St Oswalds Hospice in Gosforth, where he spent his last 4 days in this world and was so very cared for, but also want to donate some to The Maggie's Centre at the Freeman Hospital as they helped us massively financially when things were starting to look a little bleak.

I now ask that myself, Jess and Jamie are given some privacy and lots of time to grieve fully whilst we learn to adapt and make our way down a very long and winding road without Mark.

Mark I hope I did you proud yesterday with your service, I hope the kids done you proud full stop and I hope you appreciated your farewell.
Taken far too soon, gone but not forgotten
Love from your family ❤️❤️❤️
