IN CROCKETT’S GANG, HE WAS KNOWN AS SAM,

ELVIS, HIS FAVOURITE SINGER!

HAPPY ON HIS BRITISH MOTORBIKE, ….TRIUMPH

THE YOUNGEST ONE OF THE LOBLEY HILL MCGLEN BOYS,

HIS BROTHERS JOHN, RONNIE, KENNY, BOB....HAVE ALL GONE BEFORE...

AND HOPEFULLY, GOT THE PINTS IN, IN HEAVEN, AS HE WALKS THROUGH THE PEARLY DOOR!

TO HIS McGLEN NIECES AND NEPHEWS, TO EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM,

WE ALL LOVED HIM;- HE MADE US LAUGH,

WE WERE PROUD TO CALL HIM UNCLE...WE HAVE WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF THAT,

BUT COULD NOT RECALL THE ACTUAL STORIES THAT MADE US LAUGH...

BUT WE ALWAYS THINK OF HIM AND SMILE, AND REMEMBER HIM WITH LOVE.

WE REMEMBER HIS CRASH HELMET, HIS HEAVY LEATHER JACKET,   HIS GAUNTLET BIKER GLOVES.

IN LATER YEARS, THE VESTRIC VAN,  A1 EXPRESSS AND SHENANDOAH....

OF ROGUES AND LADDERS AND A RUNAWAY PRAM.

OF LOBLEY HILL CLUB,  THE STERLING HOUSE,

OF LIFTS TO SCHOOL AND PHONE CALLS SAYING ‘’HOW’S YOUR MAM?’’

HOW OUR HEARTS ACHE, TO THINK OF YOU BEING IN PAIN,

YOUR SPIRIT STILL LIVES ON IN OUR HEARTS,

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

WE LOVE YOU UNCLE SAM.

KIM MCGLEN-BULL.
