I met Fiona through a friend Jane Unsworth, and what a lucky day that was. Right from the start Fiona (Fi) made me feel welcome and like she had known me for years. Generous with her time, love and laughter, every minute spent with her was a joy. She was madcap and had you doing things you never would have thought but that filled you with laughter. She was talented and beautiful both inside and out. I became a member of ‘the Chicks’ with Fi as our head Chick and they were some of the best days of my life. I learnt a lot about Fi’s family in Ireland and she taught me how to swear in Irish, much better than English. Everyone who knew Fi will be feeling very raw right now and a massive hole will have appeared in our lives with her loss. But we will eventually fill that, some maybe not all, with the wild, wonderful, loved filled memories we all have of the amazing, talented, kind, funny, caring and loving woman that was Fi. May all her family take some comfort from knowing the many lives she enhanced just be knowing her. Love Debbie x x
