We are all stories in the end, remembered by the adventures we had, the achievements we made and the people we loved.
And your story , Mum, was a good one.
Today we should be celebrating with a cake, flowers, cards, balloons and a meal out. How you would have laughed as being thought of as 'really old.' With you saying 'You will be old yourself one day.'
It was not to be and so we have to celebrate your life without you.
Your life was a blessing and your memory is both mine and your Grandson, Thom's to treasure forever.
We both miss you and wish you a very Happy 90th Birthday.
You are with your beloved Mum Alice and your beloved Daughter Elaine.
Also remembering my only sister Elaine on the 20th anniversary of her passing on April 7th.
Losing a sister is like losing a treasure trove of shared memories, a companion in mischief and a bond that time cannot erase.
