James DonaldMCKINVENOf Lichfield. Passed away suddenly at home on March 25th, 2023 aged 65 years. Loving and devoted husband to Jane. Much loved Dad to Anna and Bethany and father-in-law to Andrew. Adored Grandad to Robyn and Jack. Jim started his career as an FCA (Charted Accountant) in Leicester, before moving to Moscow, Russia to continue his distinguished career in professional services. His final role in Russia was as the Quality, Risk Management and Ethics and Independence Partner in KPMG for the CIS practice (7 former USSR countries inc. Russia). He retired in 2015, making his home in Lichfield with his wife Jane, where he became Chair of the Lichfield Conservative Association. Jim was a dedicated family man, a mentor and moral compass to many. He had a wicked sense of humour and a love of rock music and computer games. He will be deeply missed. Funeral Service, 2.15pm on Friday 5th May, 2023 at Lichfield Cathedral. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations to St. Giles Hospice, Whittington would be appreciated.
