PeterMCLEISHPeacefully at home at Heatherview, Bellfield, on Friday, 1st October 2021, aged 83 years. Dearly beloved husband to Jean, dad to Barbara and Fiona, grandpa to Lucas, brother to Robert, Margaret and Jim, and uncle and friend to so many. He will be so sadly missed but always remembered as the gentleman he was by all those who knew him. Peter's funeral service will take place on Thursday 21st October at Coalburn Parish Church at 10.45 am, thereafter at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre, at 12 pm.

I only met Peter once, when I visited Coalburn to do genealogy research. He was such a delightful soul, and so very helpful in helping me learn the history of my family and the town they lived in. I'm saddened to read of his passing.
