So many precious memories and times spent with my wonderful Nan and so many wonderful dishes or cakes she has made for all of us. I always loved her carrot cake and not to mention the years of Christmas Cakes she used to make for me, I showed them off with pride to my friends and if they were lucky they might get to taste.

Always loved going out to see her and she would feed me up and then put me to work, it helps being significantly taller and I would glad do jobs for her that I wouldn't do for others... because she was my Nan.

I always loved visiting her, her home was a reminder of how loving and inviting and she was as a person. The home might have been small but over the years so many people would visit and was always a hive of activity and you never knew which friend or releative might be there when you showed up. I've taken many a friend round there for a cuppa. But equally... time spent with Nan and Aunty Marie just sat in the living room being goofy or just down right silly.

Always sent her a postcard wherever I went and got her magnets, and I loved seeing the fridge when I would visit.

Life did change and I did move away but I will always cherish the times and the memories we spent together and I am very lucky to have a grandmother like her, My Nan! Will miss you lots and thank you for everything you did for us Grandkids.
