Brian GregoryMCLOUGHLIN(Greg) Greg passed away peacefully on August 3 at Altham Care Home, aged 74 years. The devoted and much loved husband of the late Sue, dearly loved dad of Ian and Julie, dear father-in-law of Lisa and Sam, cherished grandad of Jessica, Hannah, Ellie, Lyndie and Joanna, great-grandad of Riley-Jay and Bella, and a highly respected relative and friend to all who knew him. Born in Chatham, Kent. Greg met the love of his life Sue at a dance at Brompton Barracks and from that moment the pair became inseparable it was just like they were made for each other. He was a doting grandad to his grandchildren and always looked forward to them visiting, taking part in the school run and taking care of them during the school holidays. Together with his wife Sue, Greg made the move up north settling into their home on Owen court, Clayton-le-Moors to be near his son Ian and their grandchildren. He settled well into the area and made many good friends. Greg was an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter and loved to watch the football when he could. Greg will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Greg’s funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, August 16 at 3pm.
