A great man, husband, father and friend. I have so many fond memories of you from my childhood growing up with Lucy, and again more recently when we caught up in Melbourne meeting my boys. You will be greatly and sorely missed.

My Grandpa

I’m so grateful I got to experience so much for the first time, with you.

My first scratch card, of course you picked me a winner.
My first crossword, I still admire your vocabulary.
My first trip to the amusements, we stretched a pound so far, even though we lost it.
My first grammatical correction; “Amy and I not Me and Amy”.
My first trip to Disneyland, Me and Jono had the best time…. I mean, Jono and I.
My first Midnight Mass, the time Christmas starts.
My first work experience, I loved that I got to witness you doing the job you excelled in.
My first ride in your cherished Riley, no seatbelts and riding with class.

Whilst these have been many firsts for me, I will always remember them as our moments shared.

However, we did get to share a first together;
Our first Anfield trip, a glorious 2-0 win against Chelsea, wow just wow.

Firsts only happen once and can never be repeated, making every one that bit more special, these can never be replaced and will never be forgotten.

I love you Grandpa and I know you’ll be watching each and every first to come for all your family and friends.
