We’re so sorry to hear of Ailsa’s passing. For many years she maintained a loving and enthusiastic interest in Kim, her little ones, and Alastair, particularly in his BB activities. We all remember her devoted accompaniment at BB annual displays and years of loyal service. For me, she was a warm and sympathetic friend, over 26 years of regular elder visits, cups of tea and biscuits galore. Alistair and Ailsa were always a visit to look forward too, with Alistair usually ribbing me about parking too far from the kerb and Ailsa hauling out the wool or photos with pride. Her love and pride in the family was so touching. She’ll be missed but remembered with the same generous love. x
