JimmyMCPARTLANDMcPARTLAND - JIMMY, June 15, 2019. Peacefully aged 86 years. Dearly beloved husband of Edna. Much loved dad of Jim, Tony, Edna, Peter and Roy. Dear father-in-law to Maria and sadly missed by Ange. Jimmy was a loving grandad to Alison, Philip, John, Conor and Lucy and to all his great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service to be held at the Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium on Monday 1st July at 10.30am, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery. All flowers and enquiries c/o Craven Funeral Directors, Broadgreen Road, Old Swan, L13 5SG. Tel 0151 228 3900.

Goodbye dad, I love you.

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
