JohnMCQUADEon January 7th 2024, Johnny passed away peacefully in hospital, aged 92 years, formerly of County Longford, Ireland. Comforted by his loving daughters The much loved and adored Husband of the late Mary (Now Reunited) Treasured dad of Anne-Marie, Margaret and the late John Matthew RIP. Cherished grandad of Fiona, Louise, Matthew and Jennifer. Doting great grandad to 8. Loving father-in-law of John and Tony. Beloved and respected brother, uncle and friend. Johnny will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

On Wednesday 31st January 2024 Johnny will be received into Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Blackley for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon followed by Interment at Blackley Cemetery.

Family flowers by request, donations preferred to 'Alzheimer's Research UK' All donations should be forwarded along with enquiries to Stewart McCrakan at Greater Manchester Funeral Service, Moston Tel: 0161 681 1864

I have wonderful memories of this lovely man. He lived just round the corner and often used to stop and chat with my late dad and then as I grew up always used to chat if I got on his bus.
John McQuade was a genuine gentleman and a delight to have known
