SheilaMCVANof Marlowe Avenue, Baxenden, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 9th December, aged 70 years. Sheila sadly leaves behind her dearly loving husband Frank, her stepdaughters Ruth and Rachel, her grandchildren Anna, Alec and Edward, her brother David, her nephew Austin and niece Adrienne, she will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her loving family and all those who knew her. Her funeral service will take place on Monday 21st December at 3pm at Accrington Crematorium for immediate family and close friends only due to the current restrictions. Any friends and colleagues from Baxenden and Hyndburn are kindly asked should they wish to pay their respects they may do so socially distanced at 2.15pm at Baxenden Recreation Ground behind the floral planters. A live web cast will also be shown, so please email info@bartonhallworth.co.uk or check the B&H website for log in details. No flowers please, but donations are welcomed for the MND Team - Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity at the Royal Preston Hospital, which Sheila kindly donated to in lieu of presents for her 70th Birthday. So sad to here about Sheila We where friends and its just about 12 months since we last saw each other due to covid restrictions She will be sadly missed. RIP Sheila.
