Michael BasilMEADIt is with deepest regret that we announce the death of Basil aged 94 years formerly of Whaley Bridge and Stockport, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family whilst in the comfort of his home in Biddulph Moor on 4th October 2022. The devoted and beloved husband of Mary, treasured father of Dominic, Damien, Louise, John, Geraldine, Margaret, Richard and Rebecca, a dearly loved father in law, cherished granddad, great granddad and uncle. Basil will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends. Reception into English Martyrs Catholic Church on Sunday 30th October at 5.30 pm. Requiem Mass to be held on Monday 31st October 2022 at 10.30 am followed by service at Macclesfield Crematorium. No flowers by request, donations preferred and gratefully received to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, care of the funeral directors.
