RoyMEADOWSPassed away peacefully on 4th February 2022 surrounded by his loving family, Roy was aged 87 years. A loving husband of the late Doreen (Doris). A much loved dad of Ginette, Sharon and Mark, a respected father in law, a proud grandad and great grandad. Roy leaves a big void in the lives of all he touched and loved. Roy's funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Thursday 24th February at 1.30pm. Grandad Roy, it’s currently 25/04/22, almost 3 months since you passed. It doesn’t get easier like they said, the grief of losing you has attached itself to me. I’m doing my GCSEs in 3 weeks from today exactly and I hope I can make you proud. I hope you’re up there doing all the things you’ve wanted to do with your beautiful wife for the past 17 years, I hope you’re looking down on the family with a big grin on your face.
I love you so much grandad Roy, I’ll miss you forever.

Rip to my best friend and my hero! I miss you so much and I know you’re not in pain now but it still hurts you’re not here! My favourite person has gone but you’ve left me and Damian and the girls so many beautiful memories that we will treasure forever! Not many people saw the soft side but we did and we even miss the grumpy side too! Love you and nanna forever and always!
