IreneMEAKINIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of Irene Meakin. Irene passed away peacefully in the care of Hollymere House Care Home, Haslington aged 95 years. Wife to the late Robert, Loving Mum to Jackie, Eileen, Leslie and Robert, Much loved Nan, Great-Nan, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Kind friend to many. Irene will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will take place at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Monday 31st July 2023 at 11:30am. Family flowers only please with donations in memory of Irene being gratefully received for Parkinsons UK. Attending family and friends are more than welcome to wear something colourful. Nan, we've been so lucky to have had you in our lives all these years. You have shared so many memories with us. You loved having your photo taken with your family, showing the generations in your life. We have looked back on your photos over the last week and what a great life you have lived. Now it's time to rest or continue your new life with those that have been waiting for you.
