The obituary notice of Robert (Rob) MEDDINGS

Missing you everyday Rob. I still expect you to walk into work anytime now. You brightened up the place and it’s just not the same without you. Thank you for all that you have done for me. You were such an inspiration to me and so many others. I am so glad and proud that I had the privilege to know you not only as a colleague but also as a friend. I have so many memories of you that make me smile I will keep them close in my heart always.
Sending all my thoughts and love to his family and friend he was truly the kindest, caring, person Iv ever met. Xx

I've known Rob for about 20 years through Aikido, and you couldn't wish to meet a more genuinely nice happy person. I will miss his company. My wife Anne and Myself (Pete) would like to offer Robs family our sincere sympathy. God bless you all. Anne and Pete.

Taken far too soon. I spent my first few days in the fitness industry working with Rob and over the next ten months came to see you as not only a colleague but a really good friends. I will miss our Monday morning chats where we would put the world to right and our chat at 'the changeover' on a Wednesday afternoon. Incredibly knowledgeable and taught me so much in a short space of time, not just as a trainer but also as a person. One of our last conversations on Friday 15th July was you telling me to believe in myself more and to be proud of my achievements and to stop putting myself down when people asked me about my lifting. Most importantly you were a top top bloke, one of the very best and you will be missed always.
