Passed away peacefully at Queens Hospital, Burton on 1st September 2023 aged 96 years.

Loving wife of the late Bill. A dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend who will be sadly missed.

A funeral service for Iris will be held on Friday 22nd September at 1pm in the Willow Room, Bretby Crematorium.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu are gratefully received following the service and will be divided between When You Wish Upon a Star, Derbyshire Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation.

Such a lovely lady and also was very fond of Bill and his poetry quotes he made for me on his computer many years ago but I still carry them with me in my purse. Has missed seeing Iris in the town and feel very sad to hear she has died. Will never forget this dear couple xxx
