Mary AnnMELIAMary drew her final breath and passed away peacefully at Wythenshawe hospital on 30th October, aged 88 with her daughter Yvonne by her side. Beloved wife of Michael (deceased), cherished mother of Paul (deceased), Maria (deceased) and Yvonne and mother-in-law to Reza. Mary was taken suddenly after a short period of critical illness. Prior to her death, Mary suffered for several years with illness but coped with this with dignity, managing always to delight in the small pleasures that remained in her life. She never lost her compassion, warmth, cheeky sense of humour and utter fastidiousness. Her departure leaves a sense of enormous loss and pain for those left behind who loved her dearly. We will take comfort in our memories and the privilege of knowing her. She will never be forgotten. Mary will be received into St. Elizabeth RC church on Sunday 26th November at 6pm. A Requiem Mass for Mary will take place on Monday 27th November at 10.00am followed by committal at Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium at 11.30am.
