Mellor, Emeritus Professor of Geography, University of Aberdeen, died peacefully at A.R.I., after a long illness, on Monday, November 15, 2004, aged 78. Beloved husband and best friend of Helene, adored father of Markus and Helga, loved and well respected father-in-law of Mona and John and special grandpa of Katherine and Murray. Funeral private by his own request. Service of Thanksgiving for his life at King's College Chapel, on Thursday, December 9, at 2.00 p.m., to which all friends and colleagues are invited.
