Ian GeorgeMETCALFEIan passed away peacefully at Bryn Marl Nursing Home on Monday, 31st August 2026, aged 90 years. Of Manor Park, Llandudno. Ian spent many years working as a Tax Inspector in Manchester, he enjoyed playing bridge and watching Manchester City.
A loving husband to Jean, a much loved father to Janice, Louise, Victoria and the late Karen and their partners Ron, Will and Karen's husband Andy, a cherished grandfather to Daniel, Lauren, Chris, Kellie, Keira, Harrison, Evie, Mia and Lucy and a treasured great grandfather to Elijah, Azaria and Emily. He will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends and everyone that knew him.
A funeral for Ian will take place on Monday, 21st September 2026 at 11am at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.
Donations in memory of Ian will be gratefully received towards St David's Hospice in lieu of flowers.
