Sorry to hear of Nick's sudden passing. He was a loyal and dependable friend to me at Beechen Cliff School and in the partaking of chamber music and local youth and county level orchestras. I have not been in touch with him lately and our life's paths
seem to have diverged on different trajectories. I remember him fondly and send my condolences to friends and family.

I had just seen a photograph of Nick leading BSYM for the Queens Silver Jubilee in Bath in 1977 and was just checking his surname online. I had no idea! I am so terribly sorry. Nick and I were at Newbridge Junior School together and were best buddies at that time. Our ways parted when Nick went to Beechen Cliff and I went to Bath Technical School but music brought us together again later BSYM etc. Really great memories of Nick and totally lovely man.

I was at senior school with Nick in Bath. I am so sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. Although we lost touch in later years Nick was a valued friend both in and out of school - great times and memories which will be treasured. RIP Nick.

Very sad to hear of Nick's passing. Like Colin I was a good school friend of Nick in the 1970s. My memories of Nick include one summer when we spent a week working as volunteers on the Talyllyn Railway laying track etc on a (then) extension to the line. During our stay our campsite was flooded so we found a guard's van to sleep in. My condolences to his family.

Very sad to read of Nick's passing - we were good friends at Beechen Cliff School, and I remember him as a very fine violinist. Indeed he played for me on one occasion at a concert I mounted in Bath. Rest in peace, Nick. My condolences to his family.
