MICHAEL ROOFMichael Roof, who died on 9 June, 2009, aged just 32, was an American movie actor and reality TV star.He had appeared in four major films in his fleeting career: Black Hawk Down (2001) as Private Maddox, xXx (2002) and sequel xXx: State of the Union (2005) as Agent Shavers, a Q-style gadget man, and The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) as Dil Driscoll.He and his father, from Dunnellon, Florida, were the focus of Raising the Roofs, a low-brow docusoap made for cable channel Spike TV in 2006. The series cast Michael Roof Snr as a fish out of water visiting his actor son in LA.Mr Roof Snr confirmed his death saying: “I lost my son, I lost one of my babies ... it’s real hard.”“We’re very sorry to hear about Michael,” said Spike spokesperson David Schwarz.
