The obituary notice of David MIDDLETON

I have known Dave for over 5o yrs. I first met Dave when I was posted to 31 AES/ THE YOGIs. Been gret friends ever since. There was a gap in our lives when we didn't see each other for about 20 yrs through postings and Dave calling it a day on the military. However Andy found me on FBabout 15 yrs ago. Dave and I met up again and it was like we had never been apart. We met up regular in the Shire Horse Stafford whenever I was passing. The takings in the Shire Horse will have gone down drastically since Dave took ill and we couldn't meet up. It's a shock to have lost a great friend after so many years. Dave will be sadly missed by his wife Diane sons Chris, Andy and his Grand Children who he adored very much and ofcourse by myself and all his Fellow Sapper YOGIs.

I am in shock after reading Dave has past away. Worked with Dave for a lot of years lovely man, always had a smile for everyone, his customers loved him. RIP Dave . My thoughts are with Dave’s family at this very sad time. Xx
