Peacefully on 28th March 2024, aged 101 years. John, beloved husband of the late Nan, much loved father of the late Jacqueline and a dear uncle to all his family.

Funeral service will be held at St Andrews Church, Stanley on Monday 22nd April at 11am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Followed by Interment at Stanley Cemetery.

Great Uncle John. I’m so very sorry I wasn’t there when you left. But I remember your smile and you holding my hand when we visited you. You were a very knowledgeable man and very kind. I miss you but I will never forget you. You will be sadly missed. But at least you will no longer be stressed out or confused and no longer in pain. We hope you're with Nancy and Jaqueline and all together again. RIP love Sharon and Steve x x
