MelanieMILLERMelanie of Long Clawson, passed away peacefully at home on 19th August 2022 aged 52. A much loved and greatly admired Daughter, Sister, and Wife, who served the local community with a passion, always helping others and a true inspiration to many she met. A full funeral service will take place at St Remigius Church Long Clawson, on 13th September at 12 noon, followed by a private interment at Long Clawson Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired will be split between St Remigius Church and LOROS.

To Andy, Debra and family. Our sympathy to you at this difficult time. Mel will be greatly missed by us and all the village. We will remember her smile, encouragement, insight and enthusiasm. We will forever be grateful for her unstinting efforts with the Neighbourhood Plan, conservation, flooding and archaeology leading to her representing us as Councillor. She dedicated an immense amount of effort and left no stone unturned in making Long Clawson and The Vale a better place for us all.
