MichelleMILLERMichelle passed out of this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 8, 2023, at age 40 from her home in Cramlington, England, with her loving husband by her side. Her eight plus year battle with cancer over...she is finally at peace. She was born on November 16, 1982, in Tacoma Washington. She moved with her family to Plano, Texas, at age two spending her formative years in Plano and Rockwall, TX. She participated in recreational soccer, basketball and swimming but her brightest achievements were predominantly academic. She graduated from Rockwall High School as Salutatorian, gave the commencement address, and received The Presidents Scholarship from SMU in Dallas. Her undergraduate work included study abroad at Oxford University which was the dawning of her love for that country and its people. She graduated from SMU then continued her academic pursuits receiving both her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. She had resided in the UK since 2013 and had been teaching at Newcastle University. She received her UK citizenship in June, 2022, and was very proud to be an official citizen of her adoptive country. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bryce and Margaret Ingham, paternal grandparents, Lou and Donna Espinosa, and her loving mother, Debby Chesna. She is survived by her husband Dusty Miller, father and step mother, Tom and Vicky Chesna, sister Kimberly McClendon (Jayson) and their two sons, her nephews, Jacob and Jed who were the delight of her life; as well as many other family members, dear friends, and co-workers, both in the UK and the US. Per her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services either in Cramlington or Texas. If inclined to gift in remembrance, please consider supporting breast cancer research .
