When my aunt Laura married William Miller and they had their son, he would become my Scottish cousin Keith Miller.

Keith would be an early victim of polio and lose the use of his legs. A high price to pay, but he would develop the strength and courage to manage it. From early on he would join in games with his friends. When he played cricket, each time he hit the ball he fell to the ground and would get up each time ready for the next ball and this continued with every game he played, especially golf. When he met and married Maggie they became the courage team, doing everything including raising a family, that is difficult enough for all of us. And having a successful career in sales at Johnnie Walker too.

Keith is a man I admire greatly, who with Maggie, turned adversity into a success story. “You didn’t get the Best start, but you lived it the best possible way you could, you are an inspiration to us all”

With Love
And sincere condolences to all your family
