Donald CarletonMILLSWith immense sadness, we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Donald Carleton Mills (Don), who passed away at Ysbyty Gwynedd on 29th September 2026, aged 93 years.
Don was a resident of Deganwy and will be known to many throughout the local area as a retired hotelier through the family's business, The Loretta Hotel, on Deganwy Avenue, Llandudno.
A beloved husband of Margaret, devoted Pops to Mel, and a much-loved father-in-law to Mark. He will also be greatly missed by his many friends, neighbours, former colleagues and acquaintances near and far.
A lifelong car enthusiast, he was a proud and longstanding member of both the Automobile Club of North Wales and the Caernarvonshire & Anglesey Motor Club, amongst others. He enjoyed countless years of friendship through these clubs and never lost his enthusiasm for all things automotive.
He was truly one of a kind, and though he is no longer with us, he will be loved forever and forgotten never.
A private cremation will take place at the family's request. No flowers, please.
