PaulMILSOMWe sadly announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, cousin and uncle. Paul left us on 14 December and we miss him so much. He was very bright and kind hearted, always wanting to help people. He had special interests in law where he worked as a police station executive and in helping the homeless by managing properties so that the tenants had a secure home. He loved the younger generation and was always thinking of ways to help them both in this country and Canada. Above all he was wonderful to his parents whom he looked after in every way. He leaves a gap that is irreplaceable. Darling Paul we will never forget you. A joint Funeral for Paul and Robert will take place on Monday 31st January, at 1.30pm at Downing Place United Reformed Church in Cambridge. There will be refreshments immediately after the Service. All welcome. Family and invited friends only will then attend Cambridge Crematorium for 4.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations to Shelter and Parkinson's Society. Those unable to join in person can view the funeral by live stream at youtu.be/RXzlL6-noiw

Darling Paul, I miss you so much. If I could turn the clock I would. I see you as a small adorable little boy with your cheeky expression. I see you skateboarding in Birmingham with all the protective gear we bought you for your birthday. I remember moving to Cambridge and how difficult it was for you. Later when Granny died I will never forget your intense grief. I see you now in the house always ready to give me a lift in the car when it was raining to the Tuesday Fellowship, and I see you waiting at the front door to help me with the shopping when I came back from the supermarket and later after my car accident thanking my friends for taking me shopping. I see you so upset after I was knocked down by a car at West Road concert hall and you going to the Manager to find out who knocked me down, but it was not possible. Then I remember you persuading me to drive again. I will never forget all your care for Dad when he was so ill with Parkinson’s disease. You enabled me to get away for short breaks by looking after him. Dad and I loved you so much. All my love Mum.

I was so sad to hear of Paul’s passing. Paul will forever be in my memory especially when I think of my time at Leeds. I knew Paul when we both studied for the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Leeds 1996-1997.
Paul was a handsome chap and I always remember him coming to the lectures in his aviation jacket. I wish we stayed in touch after we had left but know this Paul, you left a huge imprint of my time at Leeds Beckett.
And who knew you lived near Selly Oak in Birmingham as a young child and that is where I lived too- we may have crossed paths in our younger years too. Paul you certainly made an impression on me at Leeds and will never be forgotten xx

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Paul's passing. Paul was one of my closest friends during the Legal Practice Course at Leeds in 1996-7. I haven't seen him for many years but when I saw his photo I remembered him like it was yesterday. I can't express the sorrow I feel that such a great guy has been lost so young. I remember Paul was so generous to his mates at Uni and he truly was the one that held us all together. Paul I wish we could all go back in time and enjoy one last day in the sun at Beckett's Park, trying not to think about the upcoming exams, and planning our next night out. God bless mate (Jez).

Dear Paul,

It is very hard to see your picture here, I wish it would be only a bad dream.
It’s so sad that you have to go like this.
I remember how caring, kind, helpful, intelligent, open-minded, sensitive you were and also how proud you were of your hungarian granddad, Káldor Miklós.
I remember, when you hid a four leaves clover in the chest of drawer you brought for me to bring me good luck and also when you saw me walking on the road after work, you picked me, had a good chat somewhere with a drink and you dropped me home.
I remember, when you saved my friend's life. Thank you for her life. And for her 2 daughters life whom she gave birth to after her recovery.
Am grateful for those huge encyclopedias you gave me to help me to improve my English and for our flowing conversations where no masks or armours were needed...
We were planning to meet this year as We’ve not met since due to the present circumstances.
I will miss you so much. Ég Veled Paul.
My deepest condolences to your family.
Love from Eszter

Right from the first day I met you paul, you stood out from every other landlord I’ve met.you were my landlord and we later became friends and ever since then, you we’re always willing and ready to help at anytime you we’re called upon. It’s sad to know that you didn’t get to meet my kids as you’ve always said that one day you’ll meet them.I am still in shock that you’re no longer with us,but you’ll always be in our heart as I know you’re in a better place. There’s is a saying that goes like “Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.”You’ll always have a special place in my heart and family.Adieu Paul.
